CNC invites Chinatown Youth Council and SEACA to a relaxing beach day at Leo Carrillo State Beach
Time & Location
29 mar 2024, 8:30 – 16:00
Chinatown Public Library, 639 N Hill St, Los Angeles, CA 90012, USA
About the Event
Community Nature Connection, Southeast Asian Community Alliance, and Chinatown Teen Council are excited to host you on a Salty Spring Beach Bash. With the right conditions and timing of the tides, there's a chance to take a glimpse of the underwater world. Enjoy the day on a relaxing and enjoyable beach day with the chance to swim (lifeguard will be present). If the tide pools are low, keep in mind that your shoes might get wet and sandy. We are expecting the day to be mostly sunny, so bring proper attire and/or products to protect your skin.
Meet at Chinatown Library, 639 N Hill St, Los Angeles, CA 90012 at 8:30am. We will be departing to Leo Carrillo State Beach on a school bus.
Things to bring:
Lunch, water, snacks
Reusable water bottle
Sturdy shoes, sandals
Towels, beach chair
Sun protection
Bathing suit
Change of clothes
The average temperature of Leo Carrillo State Beach around this time of the year is 60°-70°F (subject to change), so layer up with thin layers that can easily be added or removed (think of layers like an onion!).
If you need any access needs (ways that we can help you have a safe and enjoyable experience) to make your trip as comfortable as possible or need to communicate with CNC staff about our Transit to Trails, please reach out to our Program Coordinator Kya, kya@communitynatureconnection.org AND ttt@communitynatureconnection.org.
