Continuing Connections Alumnx & Friends are invited to join Community Nature Connection for a Night Hike & Blacklighting event led by certified California Naturalist Janelle Artamon. Get into the spirit of the season while learning about the nocturnal residents of Elyria Canyon Park. Enjoy the magic of the nighttime outdoors and see by blacklight what creatures show up to join the fun!
Accessibility information: The program will begin in the dirt parking lot at the Wollam Street entrance to Elyria Canyon Park. Please arrive on time as the group will depart on a guided night hike shortly after the meetup time. The hike to the Akuutet learning Nursery (Red Barn) is 0.5 miles with a slight incline. A blacklighting program will be held near the nursery and restrooms and refreshments will be available. The group will depart around 8pm to hike back to the Wollam Street parking lot and close…
