Join Community Nature Connection for a fundraising event to honor Nature & Nurture Champions for wellness in the outdoors in Northeast LA communities.
Enjoy an afternoon of music, aguas frescas, and community and celebrate our honorees. Light bites will be provided by Homegirl Cafe and a limited edition run of t-shirts printed by Self Help Graphics & Art will be available.
Meet the Nature & Nurture Champions we will be honoring at the event:

Senator María Elena Durazo is a powerful force representing California’s 26th Senate District in the Legislature. She was first elected in 2018, after decades of organizing in the labor movement. Her unwavering commitment and formidable voice for working families have led to many critical victories in civil rights, workplace protections, and access to services for working families.
