About the Event

The start of Black Birds week is only a few weeks away, starting from May 29-June 4.

Meet us at Compton Creek Naturak Park, underneath the open pavilion on Saturday June 4, 2022 at 9am for our Transit to Trails to King Gillette Ranch. We will board a bus where we will cruise through the Santa Monica Mountains and arrive to King Gillette Ranch for some fun community-centered programming. Upon arriving, we get into interactive activities and have the option to join our Program Coordinator on a hike to Inspiration Point trail which is 1.5 miles with a 246ft elevation gain or explore the bottom portion of KGR, where many birds love to be.

Join us as we learn about the local birds that reside at King Gillette Ranch and discuss the importance of birds in our ecosystem. There is a Visitors Center that you will have the time to…
