In celebration of Bat Month, the Training Institute is excited to welcome Jessica Anderson, Director of Education at Bat World Sanctuary to investigate the magnificent world of bats and how our lives might be dramatically different without them. We will also explore the role bats play in ecosystems such as through pest control and pollination. Ever wondered what to do if you come upon a bat? Learn how to handle a bat encounter safely and meet some of the rescued bats who reside at Bat World Sanctuary as we discuss the importance of bat rehabilitation and bat conservation.
Meet the Trainer:
Jessica Anderson is an alumni of the University of Texas at Arlington, where she graduated with honors and obtained her B.S. in Biology. Although Jessica has been an animal lover her entire life, her love of bats began after witnessing a magical bat emergence at Carlsbad Caverns National Park.…
